Not sure what to say?

I moved from Cincinnati to Lancaster to be close to Donnie when he was a Sophomore at F&M. At that time he was the love of my life. I had a dream about him last night and was shocked to learn that Donnie had died last year. My condolences to his family. He was a kind and gentle soul.

Wow.. I was updating my basketball resume, and called to check on my good friend and coaching mentor, and found out he has gone on to be with the Lord. So sad to hear. Truly a Great Mentor, and truly will be missed. Thanks Coach for all the help and support you had given me over the year.

I just heard of Coach Anderson's passing. He was a good man who cared about his players at Gettysburg. He will be missed.

I just learned of Coach Anderson's passing met Donnie when he first came to Gettysburg College he made an impression on me right away one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known He offered me my first coaching job I'm so sorry for your loss he certainly will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I competed against Donnie when he was a senior at F&M and I was a freshman at Gettysburg, where he then became our assistant coach for two years. He was a good man and was respected by everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear about Coach A. He was a good man and took care of us at Gettysburg. We enjoyed playing for him very much. Tony D '87

I'm sorry for your loss. Donald lived his life to the full heeding the council at Philippians 1:10 "Make sure of the more important things" and Matthew 6:33 "So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles." I'm sure he would want you to do likewise. Be encouraged.
