We remember the first time we saw Bear when we came from Calif. to visit. In watching Bear in action we knew then that he would be an achiever in life. He Was.
As time passes, may your heart be filled with special memories of the wonderful times you had together. Bear will not ever be forgotten. Kelly, Punkin, & family, our prayers are with you.

This is so extremely hard to write, Bear. I Never got to say good bye. I know you will look out for us the same as you did when you were here with us. I miss you more than anything. I Feel like a huge part of my life is gone. I no longer have My oldest Brother to call on the phone for advise or to rass you about the N.O. Saints. The Three of us never got to play that round of golf. I will hold you to it though, one day when I see you again.

This is going to hard road for everyone...

Don Ashton, you were a wonderful man and when I think about this, I remain in shock. I owe you so much for the leadership you have provided for Will. He loved calling you "Chief". Your influence was huge in our lives. It was a true honor to know you and a privilege to call you and Kelly friends. I am humbled by Will's survival and am deeply saddened by our true loss. We'll never forget about Kelly; we love her so.

We were heartsick when we learned about Bear. We knew him as a youngster and we will always remember him as that sweet red headed boy who was on his way to manhood. Robert spoke with Bear on the phone about 10 years ago and he was impressed with him then, too. Please accept our condolences and God bless you all.

I am shocked by this tragedy. May god be with Don and Kelly's family. Thanks Don for making me believe in myself so I could eventually run my own business. I have fond memories of us working together at the Montfort/Spring Valley Store 15 years ago. I always admired your drive and positive outlook in life. I wish Kelly a speedy recovery.
