Donald S. Bamberg

Now that I'm retired, I often look back on my 30 year career at HP/Agilent. As a supervisor, engineer and friend, Don had more positive influence over me than any other person I knew there. It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since his passing.

I worked with Don at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent for several years. He was a great person and good friend. I could always rely on his knowledge and experience for help at work, and in life. I played golf with Don many times, and he was always helping me become a better golfer. He will be missed but always remembered. My he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted by the rembmberance of the people he touched. Randy Flater

My condolences go out to Susie, John, and the rest of Don's family. I've been reflecting this past week on my memories of Don; from his fun wedding to my cousin Susie, to fun times in June Lake (especially a fun ride back in the car when he tolerated my singing), and to our many sports conversations. He battled his health problems with such courage and Susie was the perfect loving wife and nurse.

Don Bamberg, I could say so much about him that it would fill many many pages.But I uppon relfection I would like to say that he was my friend. He led me and many others to a better place in this world and wish to thank him for that. I am going to miss him for the rest of my life.

I send my condolances to the entire Bamberg family. May Don rest in peace.

I worked with Don for over twenty years at Hewlett Packard, many of those years he was my supervisor. He distinguished himself with his competence and easy going style. He was one of those rare individuals who were respected and liked not only by his peers, but also by subordinates and upper management too. We used to say Don was like that EF Hutton commercial, when he talks people listen. Don had a big influence on my career and I will miss him as a friend and a mentor.

Don was one of the nicest guys i ever met, taught me everything i know about machining, honor and just plain doing the right thing in life. i was so lucky to work for him all those years ago and just so glad to have known him.
