Donald Philip Barry

Donald passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Donald was a resident of Webster, Massachusetts at the time of his passing. Donald graduated from St. Louis High School in 1943. He joined the Army Air Corps. After training he was assigned to the 8th Air Force and a B-24 Bomb Squadron. He served in the European Theater until the end of World War II as a wing gunner on a B-24. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen. Calling hours will be held Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 from 8:30 AM- 9:45 AM in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley, MA at 10 AM. Military honors and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Robert E. Melican Scholarship Fund, c/o Business Office, Northborough School District, Northborough, MA.
