On behalf of the entire Weymouth Fire Department family, I'd like to offer my sincere condolences at the loss of our old friend Batch. He was one of the most gentle, kind-hearted men I've ever known whose love for his "girls" was without measure.

I know that he is once again with Barbara and that they are sharing the happiness they brought to so many before Barbara's illness.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend either the wake or the funeral and I'm disappointed...

Dear Cindy,Sharon,Sue and Dawn: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have such fond memories of your dad. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Losing a loved one is not easy for anyone. Our hope for all of you is that you will soon be at peace knowing he is with his beloved Barbara.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
