As another year draws to a close and we pause to reflect on the gift of Christmas, Don is among a select group of special people I give thanks to have known. Ever the gentleman...So diligent in his work, yet always so willing to share his time and expertise, so dedicated to and proud of his family...I cherish his friendship as one of the treasures God has given me during my career. He was truly a special person, and I'm honored to have called him friend. May God continue to give his family...

I was late to hear about the sudden loss of Don. I was very saddened and am sorry I did not call him to chat when I had planned.
