Not sure what to say?

Sharon: Sorry this is so late. I am so very sorry for your loss. Don was always so very good to me in Machine Procurement. I was so happy when the two of you got together. God speed Don! God bless you Sharon! Toni Bowe

DEAR SHARON wE WERE VERY SORRY TO HEAR THE SAD NEWS ABOUT DON. WE'RE SORRY WE COULD NOT BE THERE FOR YOU AND PAUL DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. ALTHOUGH WE HAVEN'T SEEN DON MUCH IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, WE HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF HAPPY TIMES WITH HIM IN OUR YOUNGER YEARS. OUR HEARTFELT SYMPATHY BEV AND RICHARD WEINGARTNER

To Sharon, Paul, and family,
I am sharing one of my earliest recollections of Don's enterprising manner, of his creativity, when he designed emblems for the various schools we, his cousins, attended. Using old felt, his mother's trundle sewing machine and a lot of ingenuity, the end-product was crest. Mine, which had the initials N D P S
in black and white, was 3" x 3" to be attatched to a sweater as a blazon. I often wondered what became of the one he had made for me !

A little known event in Don's and my life occured when we both were in Paris,France, - he as a Military Police, and I in military hospital to return to the United States. After I had been saved from certain death from loss of blood by a Japanese (American) I found myself in a hospital in Paris. Cousin Don having been informed by the "e-mail" of the day, sought me out and visited me there. This was a great moral booster at an expected moment !
In more recent years, on occasions we...

Dear Sharon and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Though I only met Don once I remember his jovial manner and his pride and interest in all you were involved in.

Donald thank you for being there for me in every way possible, in good times and in bad, for never judging me and for always making sure things turned out right. I hope you know that on the morning of your passing, I was there, I held your hand and talked to you. I will miss you so much, for ever I love you. I am glad I could finally be there for you.

grampa i love you and miss you have fun with the angels watch over me and keep me safe see you in my dreams love ya

I was blessed to have known Donald and be a part of his life for alittle over seven years. He was a serene and gentle soul. I was also blessed on the mourning of his passing in that I was witness to the peaceful passing he had with the Angels that came for him during the night. Thank you Donald. :)
