Don was a fine gentleman. I am sorry for your loss. My memory of him will always be a mental picture of him with his clarinet. He and Lynn were a wonderful couple, and I was privileged to know them.

Our best to the family. Don was an important feature in the musical life of Bartlesville, and important in the life of my son Evan; Don was one of the first adults who treated Evan (a clarinetist, of course) as an equal, something very important for all kids. He also sold us Evan's first really good clarinet - and I'm sure that he charged us only a fraction of its real worth. The world is a poorer (and more silent) place without you, Don.
