Thanks Don for helping me during my college years by allowing me to work officiating games. It was very much appreciated. My condolences to friend Brian and the rest of the Bertek family. He was a great guy and lot of fun to be around.

Don was the father of my childhood friend his son,Brian. Don umpired many of my softball games when I was just starting out. He taught me a lot about the strike zone. My best to the Bertek family and if the visitation is until March 14, I will do my best to stop by.
