Not sure what to say?

I hope you are still racing in heaven Don

I was just a teenaged hotrodder in the late sixties and Don gave me good advice on what parts to buy with the few bucks I had. A fair and honest man. RIP

I met Don and his brother Bruce when I returned from service with the Navy in 1946. He had just opened his shop on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena. I had a '32 roadster at home waiting for me. Don suggested I join the Los Angles Gopher SCTA car club, of which he was a member. I did join and met a number of dedicated racing enthusiast, thanks to him. Don was one of the all time good guys, he will be missed.

I ran a 62 Chevy 409 with Blair's Speed Shop painted on the side. Don was always fair and patient with me. I will miss him.

I didn't know Don, but I read about him and his shop in the magazines when I was growing up. He was a terrific man, and leaves a long legacy of hot rodding greatness!

Don, you will be missed. Thanks for helping a kid make his dreams become realities.

I grew up in Pasadena in the 60's and 70's just a few blocks from Blair's Speed Shop. Stopped in from time to time on Saturday's after visiting all the motorcycle shops on my Stingray. Blair's contribution to the hot rod world will always be remembered. Wish I was born earlier and had a chance to learn from the greats ! Great to see that building, relatively unchanged after all these years.

May you rest in peace, truly a good man.

Don we will miss you lots, you are a kind hearted soul.
