I met Don in the JayCees and told him once how he was a man I could always look up to.
He was a proud man and a leader.
I hope one day I can follow him thru the Gates of Heavan.
With the tears in my eyes I do say:

I had the pleasure to know Don through the Hanover Area Jaycees, The Globe Club, and through business endeavors. I have many fond memories of Don. One that will remain with me always was at weekend retreat at a northern PA hunting camp. Don shared his knowledge and expertise during a trap shooting event. His shooting skills were as impressive as the comradery that he shared with others around him.
It was a pleasure.

To a great man and an incredible friend.
Don was a rare individual that was comfortable in any environment and any function. His humour and wit always made my day. I will miss his viewpoint, his friendship, and his presence in all that he did. A better friend I could not ask for. Heaven will be better with him.
