Fitzgerald-Cummings American Legion Post 2 is deeply sadden for the lost of our fellow Legionaire. Mr. Bourassa will be missed. Our prayer go out to the family and friends.

Don was a "regular" at my father's restaurant (The Corner Restaurant) during the 60's and 70's. He came in morning, noon, and afternoon for a cup of hot, strong coffee and chatted endlessly with my father, Roy (Doc) Merrill. Oh, the stories he loved to tell. Dad and Don were great friends; It was nothing short of fascinating to listen to them solve the world's problems in that little corner booth. Our thoughts and prayers are with Don's family and friends during this time.

We were so sorry to hear about Don passing away. While I did not know Don too well, it is easy to see the many nice qualities that he possessed. My wife Lisa only met him once, but she talks about how nice he is. Plus Kathy is such a good person, that he must have been a great father. He will be missed. Our condolences go out to the entire family and friends.

I'm glad I got to see him at Thanksgiving. He was a very kind and giving man. Just remember him the way he was when you were young and he will always be with you. Love from Jim, Di, Jon and Jes

We realize this is a very hard day for you and that you will miss you Dad. We know you love him very much. May God bless and comfort you in your hour of despair is our prayer.

Kathy,Deb,Cindy,Judy, and Don: Your Dad was one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He had wonderful stories to tell, which I am sure you have heard them all. I particularly loved the ones he told about law school and the service.

He loved his family, his country, his church, his work, his friends and his home.
He will be missed by all.

Bridges was honored to help him stay in his home with Emma as long as he did.

So sorry to hear about your dad. The times he came to Tallahassee to visit you, he was very enjoyable. I know he will be greatly missed by all. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I can honestly say That Don was a kind hearted man with a story about, it seems, almost everyone I ever mentioned to him. Don was my great-uncle, and I don't know anyone who ever had a harsh word to say about him. He will truly be missed.
