Not sure what to say?

Marilyn,

"How sad it was to hear of Don's passing. Debbie and I offer our prayers to you and your family. We will always hold onto the memories of the times we spent together in Florida. Saint Patrick's Day, our bicycle trip into the Everglades and our time with you and Don at the Groves. Don's smile and sense of humor is something we will always remember. We can just imagine all the lives Don touch with lasting memories."

Mrs. Bowker and Pam,
I just learned of Mr. Bowker's death. He was such a great teacher. I graduated from Holt in 1979, but maintained contact for several years after, including a few times when he came to Atlanta, where I moved after college.

He was way cool. Timothy Gendreau 619.922.2244

August 19,2010 Dear Marilyn, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We were out of town and did not hear of his passing until today. What happy memories we have of him, his quiet smile, and jolly nature. How he patiently stood waiting while you ran the cheering sections.
Love, Dee and Brad

My thoughts and prayers are with you. What a wonderful man. He was my assistant principal in high school and I worked with him later when I became a Holt High School employee. I'll miss that smile he always had on his face. He always spoke so highly of you and could tell you were best of friends. Your relationship is an inspiration.

Dear Marilyn,
We have been out of town and just received word of Don's passing. We are so sorry to hear of this. Dave and I both have fond memories of Don at cheer events. I remember one time you and I were racing all over setting up something when I ran, almost literally into Don sitting in a lounge area. I greeted him and asked how he was doing. He commented that he was just waiting for your next job for him. He was a supportive and helpful man...so special to have as your...

Marilyn and Pam; Ruth and I have fond memories of our times with you, Don, and our teaching/coaching friends. Don always made everyone feel good about themselves and about life. It was good sharing our lives with you and your family. They were exciting times in our lives. Ruth and I are doing good. We keep busy attending our grandkid's activities. We know that life is eternal and that we will join our love ones and friends in the eterinities.
Our love goes out to your family. Bob and...

A wonderful man, I moved to Holt Schools later in High School years 1986-1988 and Mr. Bowker was always so nice and made me enjoy Holt Schools more. A wonderful legacy for his family, are all the kids' lives that he touched.
