BRAUER, Donald Donald Brauer, 66, of Berlin, beloved husband of, LaVerne (Burava) Brauer, died Wednesday, (Jan. 18, 2006). Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Gustave and Gertrude (Mulconry) Brauer, he lived most of his life in Cromwell prior to moving to Berlin, five years ago. He was employed by Hoke Inc. of Berlin for over 40 years. Mr Brauer was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, and daughters in law, Mark and Lisa Brauer of Amston, Howard and Cecile Larson of Portland; a daughter and son in law, Lynne and Richard Wearne of East Berlin; a brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Claire Brauer of Cromwell and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Kidd. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill. Internment will follow with full military honors in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
