My sincere sympathies to the Breor family. I had the pleasure of serving with Don Sr. and his son Tom on the fire company at Firetown Station in Simsbury. His mellow personality and quiet tone in his voice were two nice qualities I remember most. It was sad to see him leave our ranks, but even more sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

The impression of "Uncle Donnie" that will always be edged in my mind is similar to how I remember my dad - from the eyes of a 12 year old. Two men that were big, strong, proud, and loving fathers - men that I wanted to emulate when I would get that big....and I'm still trying to fill their shoes today. Uncle Donnie will be missed.
