Not sure what to say?

To the family of PFC Brown, I went through boot camp with him, for years I have thought of words to say to you and I still dont have them, I only knew him 3 months but he was one of the best men I ever knew. When us recruits were getting in fights in boot your son/brother was the one splitting it up_and talking sense into us. My words can not describe how much I loved and respected him, we will be brothers forever and in a long overdue. Semper Fidelis brother. RIP

In memory & honor of Donald Brown, who at such a young age, was willing to make a sacrifice for his country. We will always be grateful to him.

Memorial Day Remembrance

The true human cost of American Freedom

1,035,665 lives.

That is one million, thiry five thousand, six hundred and sixty five American military dead.

That works out to 3,487 a year
222 a month
and 7.29 a day.

Donald was one of them, and I cried for him yesterday even as I blessed him for his sacrifice on my behalf.

Rest in peace, brave marine. May all our hallowed...
