I met Donald at Harkaway Farms where he boarded Puppy (Worth County). I could listen to him for hours with his tales of hunting and showing. He was kind and generous, witty with a keen mind. He was a true horseman and his determination to ride despite physical setbacks was an inspiration to me. I'll never forget him, Scooter and Puppy.

I met Mr. Bruce while employed at White Oak Plantation and enjoyed his friendship for many years. He was one of the most fascinating and wonderful people I have ever met; I mourn his loss along with his family. We have lost a truly genuine and lovable person. My heart aches, but I picture him and Scooter reunited, once again a perfect team, and it brings a smile to my face and my heart. I love you, Donald Bruce!
