Not sure what to say?

I am a receptionist at the Brightonian. JUst a few days before Don died he and I had a great conversation as we discovered our connection to Canandaigua and knew some of the same people. I was so pleased and was looking forward to more conversations with him. I was shocked when I returned to work a few days later and found he has left us. He was such a kind and sweet man , we all loved him at the Brightonian. I am so sad and offer my sympathy to all those who loved him. Kathleen

Donnie was one of the best athletes ever to come out of Canandaigua Academy. Growing up, I often faced him on the mound in little league games, and he was the one pitcher I feared. I was convinced that someday we would hear about his exploits in the majors. Alas, life has a way of intervening and Donnie never got to realize his great potential. He always had a friendly greeting and a smile on his face for me.

Dear Jim, to you, Bev, and your entire family, our sincere condolences on Donny's passing. He was among my few older cousins, so, for me, the fabric of the family has always included him. I remember some of his sports accomplishments and hope they were a source of pride for him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
