I still think of Don often as he was a very special friend of mine. He was always supportive, honest and straight to the point. We spent many hours discussing music, history and social issues.

It was with surprise and sadness that I learned today,September 11,2012,of the death of Don Capron.
My condolences to his family and friends,and Petey,his constant companion. It will be a great loss for him. As they say in Ireland,"I'm sorry for your troubles."
I knew Don from our early days at SUNY at Oswego. On campus,yes,but mostly from hours spent at Buckland's and Nunzi's,(Sam's),two of the renowned student hangouts. And,over fifty years,by correspondence through the postal...
