Whenever I saw Spud at one of the "Big Red Barn" music jams I could count on three things: (1) he would remind me my car inspection was overdue (2) he would have an epic new joke to share (3) he would show me how a giant smile was all it takes to make you feel special. Cheers to you Spud up there In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (aka "In The Garden Of Life")!

I first met Spuds at the Big Red Barn (Southwick Florist) music Jams. Right away, I felt at ease with his mild and up-front, no-frills character, and a character he was. Spuds could give a joke & take a joke, always happy to help with handling the musical equipment. But most of all, Spuds, with that deep, bass voice would sing for us. His favorite songs were, Comfortably Numb & Roadhouse Blues, jokingly would ask us to play Inagodadavida, so funny. Spuds will be missed but never forgotten.
