Not sure what to say?

Coach used to tutor me in math when I was in high school, and when my dad went back to college to get his degree as an adult, Coach tutored my dad as well. I was thinking about Coach today for some reason, and realized how long it had been. I´m so sorry to see he passed in 2018, but I just wanted to say that he was a great man. A steady, kind, reliable, brilliant man of impeccable character. Rest in power, Coach Chadwick.

Coach Chadwick gave me a little book, In His Steps, as a senior in 1974. I knew it was a "religious" book so I didn't read it. Four years later as I was exploring the Christian faith, I found the book and read it. It was one of the books that I read that had an impact on me. The summer after my senior year in college I became of follower of Jesus. Coach Chadwick's personal witness and the book he gave me played a role in me coming to faith. May God's grace and peace be upon you all.

Coach Chadwick brought class and intellect to the Bay coaching staff, taught me a great deal about wrestling. But my favorite memory was watching (as a football team manager) Coach Chadwick taking on all comers from the football team in wrestling matches in the mud after a practice in the rain. All opponents were younger than him, and most were bigger -- he took every one of them down. It was great fun, what school sports is supposed to be about, he understood that. -- Dave Giles BHS '70

Dear Nancy and all the wonderful Chadwick family, we send our love and prayers. God Bless and we will all miss the great Dad and Coach of the neighborhood. The O'Brien's

To all the Chadwick Girls and the entire Chadwick family: The Yuhas family is so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Chadwick was such a nice man and positive influence for so, so many Bay kids. Our formative years were made so much the better because of his life's work. Rest in peace.

Thank you coach for introducing me to FCA back in the early 70's.

Sympathy's to the family for the loss of a truly great man and leader that helped mold the characters of so many young men

Don will always be Coach to me. Was a wonderful coach, one of my favorite teachers and just a great man. He will be missed.

Don was a mentor and a friend to me. His influence and leadership will be fondly remembered by many. My deep condolences and the Lord's comfort to Nancy and all of the family. Our earthly loss is heaven's gain. Farewell and thank you Don.
