Not sure what to say?

I am finding this five years after Dr Chittick's death.
Profoundly grateful for this brilliant, humble and godly man.
He opened my eyes to the world of wonder in creation while at Fox in 1975 and 6.
He was an excellent apologist for creation science, making it simple.
He inspired me to do some teaching on apologetics in my pastoral ministry, climb Mt Ararat in search of Noah's ark, and dabble in gasification.
The memory of the righteous will be a blessing!

This morning the Lord brought Dr. Chittick to mind. I came to my computer to get an address to write to him and found that he has passed. I'm so happy that he is with his son! I know that Peter was waiting for him.
Dr. Chittick was the most generous man with his time and knowledge. While attending George Fox College in 1977 he tutored me as I struggled with an astronomy correspondence course! I remember him saying that he didn't know a lot about astronomy but he'd like to learn as...

So sorry for your families loss. Dr Chittick had a profound impact on my belief system as a college student and I have passed on the learning to my six children. We need more teachers and writers as talented he was.

What an honor to have been able to serve him in such a small way. His knowledge and ability to convey it was paramount. I hope his family will continue there lives totally grateful for the honor...

Donald Chittick greatly influenced my life as I am sure he did thousands of others. We attended one of his many seminars (At Sunset Presbyterian about 1989 or1990), bought and read his book The Controversy, was immediately hooked and we went on to learn more at ICR. I credit his love of God and his great knowledge and teaching ability for my passion for God's words in Gen 1-2 to be literal and real. I hold him in high esteem as one of God's great workers. I am sure he will be missed by his...
