I remember Don down at the Times trying to keep the mailroom under control. A whole bunch of paperboys used to get their bundles at the Times and Don had the challenge of keeping that bunch under control. Funny. A good man keeping the Times going.

My thoughts are with you all during this time of loss. I know the fondest of memories will be present as you gather together to celebrate the life of your father, filled as it was with the music, art literature and joy you created in your house there on the corner.

David,
We were so glad that we were able to hear your concert last Monday in Traverse City. I enjoyed talking to you then. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family
in the loss of your Dad. I hadn't seen
him for many years but remember how
friendly and helpful he was when I attended Gardening Club with your Mom in Ann Arbor. He helped me dig out some plants from their yard that Janet was willing to share. Love & Care,
