Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Don's passing today (Dec 23). Don was one of my first and formative music teachers as well as the director of our church choir where I attended. He spent a lot of time teaching me, not only singing, but also music, in general. He gave me a tremendous appreciation for the hymn, telling me that it was one of the most difficult musical forms to master. It grieves me terribly to learn of Dr. Clark's passing. He was an amazing teacher who stretched my limits further than I thought possible, so I could realize my full potential. I am am deeply grateful to have known him as both my teacher and dear friend. I send my deepest condolences to Wanda, the sweetest woman, and family. Your enduring marriage and the love you two shared with others is beyond compare and I am abundantly blessed to have been on the receiving end. I know Dr. Clark is...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

A really good guy. A guy you would want for a neighbor.

Don was a valued colleague and friend at OBU for over 30 years. His artistic performing skills and his love of the teaching process were unmatched. We counted Don and Wanda among our cherished friends in the OBU and Shawnee-wide community. As the band and orchestra director for 25 plus years, I could always count on their loyal support in concert attendance. Don will truly be missed in Shawnee but his legacy will endure forever. RIP my friend! ✝
