Donald C. Clingensmith

My heart goes out to Mr. Clingensmith and his family. I had him for math in my freshman year of high school. He was funny, and he went out of his way to help students, I remember him talking to me after my final exam, he said, John, you still got "A" for the final grade. I was relieved. He took a load off of my mind, I worked really hard in his class. He told me, John, you'll be in prep algebra next year! I was just at my 33rd class reunion this past weekend and only heard of his passing...

Mars High grads were blessed with some great teachers, and Mr. Clingensmith was one of the best. So much enjoyed visiting with him at a reunion some years ago.

A wonderful teacher - he taught me to actually LOVE math. RIP My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
