Not sure what to say?

Don was a great mentor and friend who showed great faith in my legal ability when I had doubts. Having just lost my father (who Don knew from family business matters), Don was truly a father figure for me when I started my legal career at Webster Sheffield. His warmth and generosity were legendary and an inspiration. He made me the successful lawyer I became. I still miss him - these photos being him back perfectly.

Thank you, Don, for being an inspiration and wonderful friend. A number of AUSAs still remember you fondly.

We were so shocked to hear the news that Don is gone. I never fail to think of him whenever I'm on a boat somewhere. He had a real gift for communicating to others that special connection he had with the open sea. What a great guy and wonderful family friend. He is missed.

Dear Eva:
Don did more to help me in my career than anyone else in the world. When I was a kid at Webster Sheffield, he had enough faith in me to recommend me to Bob Morgenthau. My experiences at the office were not only the happiest of my life, but taught me everything I know about law and life. I owe it all to Don. He was strong, smart, quiet, and a natural leader. I thank God I knew him.

In sadness, Renata & Jack

The mighty fish of the oceans and waters bow down in your rememberance. A gentleman and a scholar like no other. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you . And say hello to my father, your friend, Daniel.
All my love,
Douglas
