In my eyes, Mr Colo was bigger than life as I met him when I worked as a laborer at Lightning Whse in Phoenix while I was studying at ASU. He interacted with everyone as if they were family and made me feel welcome in this new city for me.

Having a conversation with someone today and telling them in my lifetime I have met 2 football players...Don Colo being one of them prompted me to look up his stats and I came across his obit. Many years ago (probably 50 or so) my Dad worked for Cleveland Freight Lines and Mr. Colo was in the office on a day I went to work with my dad (Bill Oriti). Don't remember whether he worked there or was visiting but I do remember him being kind and attentive to this star struck little girl :) Anyway I...
