Does anyone wonder if a tree mourns the loss of its leaves?
True in time more come to take their place and no single leaf does a tree make.
But, without that single leaf would that tree be what it is today. How could you measure what that leaf truly has meant to the whole and what would have been if that leaf had not been there to add to that tree or how much the tree is diminished now that it is gone,
And if the tree.. misses that leaf.
But.. is that leaf really gone? Or...

Donald was a year ahead of me. I always remember him giving a smile in the hall. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.
