To Don's family, and especially my childhood friend, Patti: The Conley household was part of my formative years on Simpson Ferry, in New Cumberland schools, and scouts. I have a special place in my heart for Patti and her dad. Because I moved away to attend college, married, joined the Peace Corps, and spent a number of years abroad, I've lost touch with many of the people who were so important to me on the West Shore in the 50's and 60's. Patti & family - a special greeting to all of you...

Immortality

Do not stand at my grave and weep...
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift unflinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft...

Please accept our deep condolences on Mr. Conley's passing. He was a good friend of my parents, and they will surely miss him. They often spoke of his hard work in the garden and all the goodies he and his wife would bring to them made from his harvest of vegetables.

We are so sorry to hear of his passing. We feel honored to have known Don. I'm especially proud to have known a real American hero and a Vietnam brother. Greg and Sue Warner
