Donald S. Connery

Sorry to hear so many years later of the passing of. Mr Connery. I only met him once staying with Carol at their home in Kent. He was very kind to me. Belated condolences to Carol & his entire family.

Two Giants of Journalism and good friends graced the Northwest Corner of Connecticut.. Donald and Robert Estabrook... And one word describes both of them.. Gentlemen....There was a dark point in my family´s life. But there were two men, like lighthouses, shining beacons of hope to us... Thank you

This news really saddened me. Don and Leslie were my second host parents when I spent a high school year in Connecticut in q1986-87. I really admired their lifestyle and dedication to good causes and purposeful life in the world arena. I am sure Don is in a good place now. He always has been. My condolences to Leslie and family.
