Donald was a great friend. We would go out and get his mind of things especially when he was stressed about dialysis. I remember meeting Donald at gods kitchen and that is where we became good friends. I will miss Donald smile and his good sense a humor. My condolence to the family may he rest in peace and I look forward to seeing you in heaven. He is not suffering anymore and thanks to all of the staff at the home thanks for taking care of my Friend.

I will miss Don's stories and news reports every Sunday morning on the way to church. He always knew the latest events in Grand Rapids and the surrounding area, and which restaurants were having special activities and events. I will miss his company.
