Not sure what to say?

I have been away from Fort Worth for some time and was unaware of the untimely death of Don Copeland. He and I worked together at GDSC and he was one of the more remarkable people I have been priviledged to know. The world will certainly be less bright and a lot less fun for his passing. Don was a decent and compassionate man and loved by all of us who worked with him.

AS KIDS - BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL - WE "PLAYED" TOGETHER AFTER SCHOOL FOR AS LONG AS MY FAMILY LIVED A FEW BLOCKS AWAY FROM HIS......HIGH SCHOOL CONTINUED OUR CLOSE FRIENDSHIP BOTH AS FRIENDLY COMPETITORS AND AS COMPATRIOTS ON THE TROJAN FOOTBALL TEAM - WHERE I THINK HE PLAYED CENTER FOR MOST OF THE TIME.

WE LOST TRACK OF EACH OTHER AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, AND WE WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS TO COLLEGE.
i FINISHED BAYLOR UNIVERSITY WITHOUT EVER KNOWING THAT "BUGGER RED" HAD LEFT...

I remember Don from our days at Calvert High School. We all had "nick " names, he was called "Booger Red". He was so well liked by every one, he made life better. Jim "shorty" Amos

Don Copeland was my first introduction to Human Resources back in 1981. For any of us who started on the Peace Vector 1 program at GDSC he was our go to guy for information and he will be missed. Check 6.

Don was a pro-the best Human Resources guy I ever knew-totally knowledgeable in the rules and truly dedicated to taking care of his employees. He was so enjoyable to work with that I will never forget him. He leaves a big hole in this world...my sincere condolences to Sanna and his family.

My sincere condolences to you all.
Mr. Copeland will be missed by many.
God Bless you.

Don was one of the first people I met when I joined GDSC back in 1981. He was always a thoughtful and caring man and once told me he wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up. Via con dios amigo - Peace Vector / Peace Delta

To Sanna and all of Don's family: Don was truly a gracious, humble and caring friend and brought joy and good cheer to everyone with whom he came in contact. We are privileged to have had him as a member and he will be sorely missed by all of his LMAR family and friends.

You go through life and are touched by only a handful of people. One of those was Don Copeland. He will always be in my thoughts.
