What a remarkable man. My life is well and truly blessed in having known him here in the desert these last 20 years. A full life well-lived by a member of the "Greatest Generation." I am grateful for his service to the country and history as a member of our Armed Forces. I am grateful for his service to the country and history during a period of great change after the war.
