Donald Frank Cullum (Don) Services: Sat., Aug. 13, 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Donald Frank Don Cullum, 67, who passed away August 10, 2005. Rev. Milt Cole will officiate. Don was born on January 12, 1938, in Bakersfield. He was a cattle rancher for 25 years. He was a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association for 27 years and served as S.W. Vice President. He was an Advocate for Ranchers Rights and was voted the 2002 Cattlemen of the year in the state of New Mexico for his hard work. He was also a member of the Italian Heritage Association. Don loved to deep sea fish on his dads boat. Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Cullum; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Linda Cullum of Bakersfield and Jeff and Mary Ellen Cullum of New Mexico; son, Don O. Cullum of Silver City, New Mexico; daughter, Sherry Frye of Bakersfield; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; mother, Marguerite Cullum of Bakersfield; brother-in-law and best friend, George Coffey and many friends and family in New Mexico and California. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Cullum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to C.B.C.C. of Bakersfield. A special thanks to Dr. Patel and his staff at C.B.C.C. Dear Dad, I can't believe how fast time goes, I have been fufulling the promise I made to you about takeing care of our family. On Feburary 17 at 10:00 pm, Grandma Coffey passed on and we buried her on Feb 22 at the same place you are layed to rest...I took care of her just like I promised. Mom and the rest of the family were all there. I miss you so very much. Donny has come to town to stay here for awhile, I will bring him to come visit you. I LOVE YOU DAD

I want everyone to know that I have Permantely arranged this guest book so that everyone can sign and give their regaurds, throughout the years to come. I know everyone who knew my dad or heard about him will Miss him dearly, so maybe this will be some kind of comfort to be able to always have an opportunity to keep in touch, whether it is a memory or holiday or aniversary in the years to come.
