Don worked as a painter all of his life, moving permanently to Luzerne in 1988 after coming to the area for years. He was a member of the Gladwin Eagles. Don was an accomplished musician who played with “In The Red”, “Rachelle Rae”, and many other groups through the years. He was an avid trout and walleye fisherman, loved playing guitar and enjoyed bowling, a pastime he enjoyed with his father.

Not sure what to say?

The older we get the more often we lose those we love, and each loss is unique in how it impacts our daily lives, I still think of Don often and still feel the loss of him not being here, the loss of knowing he's not a phone call away, I truly believe we will be reunited in heaven because of Jesus, he is lord to Don and anyone that believes, and therin the pain of loss is eased, But I still miss my friend.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I will miss you forevermore Don. Never foget your tenderness and your laughter. You brought me much Joy in the few years I was bless to know you. RIP.

Hard to believe it's been a year, think about Donnie often.

I was heartbroken to hear about Don's passing. We lived in the same neighborhood and had a lot of fun hanging out together over the years. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

A wonderful person we love & will miss always. As we look upon the

star lit sky, we will think of you, the peaceful shining star we all know you are!

Fly High! Bet you are playing with all the great ones! Enjoy it for eternity! Rest well my friend

I was home for a short visit in 2017. I made contact with Don, and by coincidense he was playing a gig at Scooters. He didnt see me walk in and i sat in the low light and watched. Like I had watched so many time before through the years. Its a beautiful thing to watch and listen to an artist at work. He always made me smile with his guitar playing style..he had his own. So, many memories float in my head. He was poetry in motion with a fly rod in his back yard trout stream...and his...

Earth & Sky Memorial

I held Don in the highest regard for his many talents; both musically and as an artist at his craft of painting and staining houses. I have had the privilege of dealing with Don for nearly 30 years. He truly did a professional, high quality job every time and had the patience and integrity to complete it the correct way. He was kind and a good listener as well as teacher if you asked him. He was very proud of his granddaughters! I pray for God's Peace to surround the family at this difficult...
