Not sure what to say?

Daralynn,

I am so sorry for your loss. It has been decades since I was that little kid next door ... but i still remember your dad and those trips he made to Mexico to pick up treasures to sell in the store.

Even when we were kids doing what we were not suppose to do, he kept a firm but loving demeanor about him.

All the best to you, your brother and your mom in this difficult time. I know your dad is proud of you and that is probably the greatest...

To Dorothy; Dylan; Daralynn, Walter and girls; and Joy:

Don and I met when we were in our teens. He and his family became a part of my family. My friendship with Don will always hold a special place in my heart. Our families will continue to keep in touch.

Love, Venita (Vengie), Jay, and family

I met Don back in the early 90's through Craig Pfledderer and had many fun times with travels and general laughs! May you all enjoy God's peace as Don pulls off yet another one!

Dorothy, Dylan, Daralynn and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We were very glad that we got to meet Don; and will always treasure the paintings with which he gifted us. ~ The Edmondson Family ~

As a avid collector of early Texas art I was thrilled to meet Don Deardorff about five years ago. He quickly became my good friend and we enjoyed many great times together. It was a real pleasure to introduce him and his work to other collectors and they eagerly added his work to their collections. Dorothy, Dylan, Daralynn and your families should be very proud of Don and what he accomplished. He was a fine artist and loved to share his works with collectors. I cherish the memories I...

Daralyn, Walt & family: Our prayers are with your family in the loss of your father. We can thank God for our memories

To Daralynn: My sincerest and deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. I pray that you and your family will hold the memories close to your hearts and may they provide comfort and peace during the difficult times ahead. May God bless you all.

Don was a really talented artist and an interesting guy with a keen sense of humor. He kept his smile wide and spirits high all the way to the end. He was an important member in Fort Worth's pioneering art community and he kept painting into his 90s. He'll be sorely missed.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Deardorff family. What a wonderful person is was. What a great family he has. We will miss him." Asako Cosby and Patricia Cosby Gray(Fort Worth,TX)
