Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I am so saddened to hear this, but I know he is now rejoicing with our Lord. Don was a wonderful man. He was at the very heart of State Street United Methodist Church. He contributed so much for the good of others. I am a better person from having know him.

I will miss this man greatly. He was always a great neighbor to me and he and Barb were quasi parents to me when I moved in across the street. Always took care of my cats when I went out of town and could spot the 1/8" the columns on my porch were off. Although we didn't see each other often in the past few years, he always had a warm smile and a tight hug when we did see each other. My condolence to the family. He will surely be missed.

Don was a neighbor of ours in the Adams Blvd area for 25 years. He was always assisting others, especially a retired school teacher, Mrs. Golden, who lived across the street from him. Don also worked very closely with my Dad, who considered Don extremely capable and professional, in the expert witness program at Saginaw Steering Gear. Don also volunteered at the YMCA where all of my children took swimming lessons with him. He will be greatly missed.

What a wonderful human being. He was a regular at Concerts at First Presbyterian Saginaw. He was caring and always interested in new experiences. There was much to learn about being a caring citizen from Don Deford....and how to be a caring son by his dedication to his mother.

Please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathy on the passing of our dear friend Don. Jim and I worked with Don for many years, attended many concert functions with him and Barb. He will be truly missed. God's Blessings.

So sorry for your loss. Your dad was always so helpful to me when we lived next door. Such a smart, nice man
