Broomhead Funeral Home - Riverton Obituary

Don Phillips, the most wonderful man in the world was born to Florence and George Phillips on May 25, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Don unexpectedly left this world on October 30, 2019. Don loved his family above all. He loved his wife, Teri, with his whole his heart. He was happiest when he was on his Harley with his sweetheart Teri, or in his woodshop. He enjoyed being out in nature camping and fishing. His dancing blue eyes and terrific smile will be missed by all. Don has now been reunited with family members in Paradise including both of his parents (Florence and George Phillips), two brothers (Bill Billings and Judd Phillips) and a sister (Barbara Chapman), as well as his in-laws (Harry and Mary Eales).

Don and Teri were married on May 17, 2003 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Utah Oquirrh Mountain Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 10, 2009. He leaves his wife, Teresa (Teri) Phillips, and children Dahono Subardjo (Sara), Roberta Phillips, David Hoover (Audra), Tiffany Hansen (Cody), Sean-Paul O’Neal (Jennifer), Samuel James (Ashley), Christian James (Abby) and Kate Nave (John). Additionally, leaving siblings Garrett (Lila) Billings and Ted Phillips.

His grandchildren are the delight of his life: Lacie (Cole), Zackery, Cody James (C.J.), Phillip, Abby, Kahlan, Parker, Emily, Aiden, Ryan, Cosette, Everett, Olivia, Greyson, Daphne, Maria, Porter and Jersey Ann. Great-grandchildren: Launa and Bryce. He has many nieces and nephews

Not sure what to say?

Teri, thinking of and your family today. Wish I could be there. Don was a wonderful person and he will be missed but never forgotten. May God bless you with beautiful memories, comfort in this time of loss and strength to go forward.

Teri, I'm one your DAR members and I don't believe we've met, but I wanted to offer my condolences and let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope you have a chance to join with us at our meetings. We would love to have you there and our hearts go out to you. You have much support that you may not even know about. Love and heartfelt sympathies,

My heart felt sympathy to Teri and family. May the good memories you had with Don be the ones you keep in your heart and may they bring you peace at this time until you are all reunited on the other side. "Sorrow is not Forever, but LOVE is!" - - - Darle Taylor

Teri, we are so sorry for your loss. Don was such a soft spoken, gentle man. He will be missed. If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call. Rod and VaLoy Smith

May your soul ride the wind, soaring over all those you love and care for wrapping them in your love; bringing peace to their hearts with the knowledge that you are with them always and all those you have touched with your loving presence throughout your life.

I have many good memories of my Uncle, and am grateful for the times we had together throughout the years. Don was a giant with a gentle soul, who cared and loved deeply. You impacted my life has you have many others and...

I had the privilege of meeting Don twice. I also had the privilege of breaking bread with him on a visit he made to Arizona. Kind - gentle - a teddy bear king size! He was a good man. We were all lucky to have him here for the time he was - now God is lucky to have him back home. I will never forget you Don. Shalom
