To the entire Doolittle Family,
Don was a wonderful man! He loved Windsor Central School District,
and was an active participant in working to preserve the history of the district. I always enjoyed my meetings with him wether it was at the Historical Perservation Committee meetings, or at Schneider's Market. He loved his community and people in general.
Thank you for sharing him with all of the rest of us!

I had the great honor of knowing this man. I was a member with him in the Kirkwood Lions Club. I loved to listen to him tell all his stories. He was a true gentleman. And he talked about his family all the time. He will be greatly missed by so many. He is a type of man that you should hope to be.

To Don Doolittle's Family, Friends and Loved Ones, Our family was truly blessed to have met Don this past December on a wintery day on his Christmas Tree Farm. Our Son, Andy and his wife Beth and our Granddaughter Bryleigh were visiting for the weekend from Maryland and we decided after many years of artificial trees to create a beautiful memory by cutting down a real Christmas tree for our family celebration. Don welcomed us with warm hospitality and shared stories of his family and grandchildren. After talking for a bit, we learned that he was related to Rachel Bump from Windsor, my sister's mother in law. Kind caring words from Don about his illness and love of life. He only touched our lives for a moment but our treasured memories will last a lifetime. Thank you Don for our beautiful Christmas tree and memory of that chilly wintry day in December. May God's blessings comfort your family and friends and all whose lives were touched by your warm smile and caring ways. Peace Always, Maria and Andy Supa

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time. Lots of memories remain with our family of time spent with Don and his family. (One of our favorites is the giant snowball my kids made while looking for the 'perfect' Christmas tree).
