Don was my mentor at CCC. He was also a very dear friend.I so enjoyed proof reading the bibliography of his book on Ireland. I urged him to use his Fullbright to attend Trinity in Ireland. I lost track of him over the years, but thought of him frequently. Best of everything to the family of this remarkable human being.

The family has my deepest sympathies on the loss of Don. I remember him and the family as being good friends of my father, Melvyn Berens. I know Dad was sorry to have lost touch after he left Astoria. Dad died in 2009. Luana Berens, [email protected]
