Not sure what to say?

Don, we shared grade school and high school and kept contact through the years. You made those years richer for us. Thank you. We will miss you, my friend. Joanne & Wil

A true "Superstar" in the field of Radio,
Television, and Film. I was a member of the
search committee that brought my very dear
friend and mentor Mr. Don Edwards to the ranks of the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Words cannot express the admiration that I had for the incredible
teaching and management style that Don brought to the classroom. Our many talks
about the "Power of Radio and Television
Stations obligations to serve in...

The first person I met at Syracuse University was Professor Edwards, the chair of the Broadcast Journalism department. My father and I were touring the campus and stopped into his office unannounced. He was very warm and welcoming. He asked me if I was prepared to move to the upper peninsula of Michigan for my first job. (He was close, it actually turned out to be in North Dakota). I am so sorry to hear and learn of your loss.

Sorry to hear of don's passing. Will always remember him

Nancy, My condolences to you and your family. My dad, "Andy" to most at the news station, had tremendous amount of respect for Don and all that he accomplished at WSYR. It was such a pleasure to get to know him a bit later in life on your visits to Skaneateles when my mom would return to the east coast.
He accomplished so much in his life and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to the family on Don. I knew his parents. Don was a very talented person. God Bless you, Sincerely, Deloris Bagent
