Not sure what to say?

Mr. Ellertson was one of my favorite grade school teachers. I send my deepest sympathies to Jeff and the rest of the Ellertson family. May you rest in eternal peace Mr. Ellertson.

I never had Mr Ellertson as a teacher, but I did get to learn from him our house growing up was on the end of 9th street. I spent many days walking the wooded land next to our house with Mr. Ellertson. Prayers for the Ellertson family. John Scully

Don was my 5th grade teacher. I loved being in his class. Always loved to see him & Doril at Bethel and especially, in adulthood, absolutely loved playing pinochle with Don & Doril!

I have fond memories of living in "Teacherville", and the Ellertson family was a big part of that from the beginning. Don was a kind and gentle person and with his wife Doril, they contributed a lot to the neighborhood. This included the fort that Don built in their back yard as well as allowing us to play in "Ellertson's Woods" just outside of Battle Ground city limits where we rode their Tote Goat and Honda motorcycle. We explored, built trails and forts and camped overnight in the summer....

I met Don through his daughter Jennifer and have enjoyed hearing all the family stories filled with so much love and laughter over the years. He was such a good example of living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment by making beautiful memories.

My uncle Don was the easiest and most well informed person I ever so enjoyed talking to on any subject. As a homeschooling family we took his advice many times. He was always loving and non-judgmental. He surely will be missed.

Mr. Ellertson was my 5th grade teacher in the early 80s. He was always helpful and kind. One of my favorite teachers. Rest in Peace Mr. Ellertson.

It was an honor to be one of his caregivers/med aides at Glenwood. I will always remember Don for being the kind man he was.

My condolences to the family. I first met Don when I picked Strawberries for several years at Dawson Farm, he was a field boss. In my later years I knew him as he was an uncle to my daughters husband Chris. I remember him as a very loving and caring man.
