Donald Zachary Epps will be remembered as a great man with a hearty laugh, a big heart, and a humble spirit. He was well-loved by his mother, fiancé, sons, family, and friends. Donald was born to Donald Epps Sr. and Louise Ferebee on May 10, 1964, at D.C. General Hospital in Washington, D.C., and thought of as a special blessing and gift born on Mother's Day. Donald attended Surrattsville High School in Clinton, Maryland, and later received his GED.

Donald loved to travel on the open road. Later, he would pursue his lifelong desire to become a long-distance tractor-trailer driver. He obtained his CDL license and followed his father's career path as a driver. He would often stop by and visit family, while traveling across the country. A dream fulfilled.

On Monday, December 6, 2020, Donald conceded and took his place among the ancestors, after suffering a stroke. Even in death, Donald was able to give to others by donating his kidneys to those in need with the NJ Sharing Network. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Epps.

Donald is survived by his mother Louise Ferebee; fiancé Gail Victor; sons, Najee Victor and Darnell Farquharson; stepmom Helena (Cookie) Epps (Donald Epps) and three sisters, Brooke Epps, LaResia (Resie) (Joseph)Phillips and Donna Epps; aunts Eloise Sherrod, Hilda Brown (Mitchell), Naomi Ferebee, Renee Ferebee, Judy Ferebee (Levone Lester), Maxine Frasier, Gladys Burns, Doris Jackson, Deborah Johnson, Cynthia Epps; uncles Riley Ferebee Sr. (Arlana), William (Bill) Ferebee, and Hilton Ferebee (Almaz); Michael (April) Epps, and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Rd, Waldorf, MD. Interment will be private.
