Not sure what to say?

I have the best memories of Uncle Don and Aunt Babe who were friends with my parents going all the way back to Ann Arbor High School. They traveled together to countless away U of M Football games and were often in attendance at Parker family parties and events and picnicking at Huron Valley Swim Club in the summers. Uncle Don always kept us entertained with his great sense of humor and unique nick names for everyone in our family. His vast antique telephone collection was just amazing as...

I also knew Don from our days at Michigan Bell. Great personality and loved his dry personality. Our American Legion Post presented him with a pinning that recognized his military service. May God rest his soul.

Don was a proud and faithful member of American Legion Post 46 in Ann Arbor. He earnd his membership in the American Legion for his service in the United States Army. He received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart while serving this Country during the Korean War. Don has been promoted from Post 46 to Post Everlasting and will be greatly missed. The post will drape our post charter in honor of his passing and recognize him at our Feburary meeting.

Don & Babe were constants at many parties with the band of friends from high school in A2. Almost all of that group are sadly gone now. So many memories of football games and laughter. Don always had time for the next generation of the kids from so many of his friends. Dan Alber

So sorry to hear of Don's passing! Great friend, super nice person. We both worked together in the M football press box and traveled to many M football away games. Will miss he and wife Babe.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I only knew of Don through my dad, who also worked with Don at the phone co. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

The Eschelbach's were our first neighbours in Ann Arbor. Went to several UM games including Orange Bowl to see Bill play. Warm, and kind people with terrific sense of humor.

Such a genuine person, I will miss you and your humor.

Worked with Don for years at Bell. Always made sure he had a seat next to the control point in the press box at UM Stadium. Many laughs and story´s. Saw a lot of Michigan football together. Rest in Peace.
