Not sure what to say?

Im a 63 graduate of Bernards High and 78 years old with 9 grandchildren. When I tell them about my H.S. days Mr Ferry is my favorite topic. I willl always remember him fondly. "Pops favorite teacher".

Can't believe it's been a year since Mr Ferry has passed. I'll say again, he was my favorite teacher at Bernards HS. He became a real inspiration to me and guided me and many students into adulthood. I Will always remember him.

Remembering You Don,Recalling the devotion to craft, the focus on youth, the energy, the standards of excellence...all that,I found in your example. Great memories.... talks about New Jersey history, the ORYMCA riding list after lunch, your Kittatinny campfires, the Indian dancing, that blue and white van, your endless singing, the caving, the white water rafting, the biking in Gettysburg and the nights at the Newton,Dunkin Donuts!! Col Ferry was a wonderful man. I am very sorry that he is gone. My sincerest sympathies go out to his family. I will miss him

Donald W. Ferry Family,
The world was a brighter place to those who knew Donald. To be greeted with a smile and turn around as they passes you and they are still smiling its something to say for that person, thats a friend. Cherish every second you spent with Donald. Those beautiful memories will help you through the coming weeks, months and years. I have been there.

Don and I coached together for many years at Chatham High School.Words cannot describe his love and dedication for the students he taught and coached. Any young person who had the priviledge of being associated with Don was a better human for it. Not only was he an educator in every sense of the word, he was a true model for students to emulate. As a coach many years his junior we was a true mentor and friend. He held firm to his belief that sports were a tool with which to build charecter...
