Not sure what to say?

Dear Judy and family, Larry and I just heard of your loss and we are so very sorry! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this difficult time. Warm regards, Molly and Larry McKenna

So sorry to hear about Fitz's passing. It has been a long long time in the West and New Haven area that we were friends. I am including my wonderful brother, Jocko Sullivan, in this message. Jocko passed about five years ago in New Bern, N.C. Fitz brought a lot of fun into our lives, so I am certain
that the Fitzgerald Family will miss a great many memories of him. Continue to remember him and to share with each other all of those fond times together. Thanks for the memories, Fitz!!

Condolences to the FitzGerald family .Fitzy was a great guy . I knew him from his years at Blanchetts May he RIP!

"It takes a long time to grow an old friend" reads a wooden placard hanging in our family room that Judy and Fitzy gave us many years ago. Truer words were never spoken! We've enjoyed special times over the past many, many years including holidays, weddings, birthday parties, pot luck parties, Christenings, golf outings, lunches out on the shore, burgers at Lake Zoar, wings at The Dew Drop In, chicken tenders at Hard Hat, dinners in the winter months or just cocktails on the deck! Fitzy...

Rest In Peace Fitzy! What a wonderful man! The old SVS Sports in Hamden.

Sad over passing of long-time buddy, friend and classmate. Great athlete who I remember from our games at "The Lot" when we just kids. Always had a smile on that face, and those freckles and red hair. Best of all was his personality.

To the entire Fitzgerald Family. I am very sorry for your loss. I had the honor of meeting Mr. FitzGerald through Tim and I have to say one of the nicest men I have ever met. May he rest in Peace...

Dear Judy and family So sorry for your loss I remember Fitzy as a great athlete at West Haven HS. I remember when you were dating and he joined the wonderful McHugh Family. You had a wonderful life together. God bless you and your family. Ralph Greco

Very sorry to Fitz´s family with his passing. Nice memories of such a regular guy. He was a person who you´d not see often, but when the occasion occurred ( a twilight league get together, etc.)it was a pleasure to talk about the old days with him. Anybody who played ball in New Haven county in the 50´s and early 60´s would always say what an unbelievable rubber-arm Fitz displayed. God´s blessings to the FitzGerald family. He was indeed a genuine man!
