Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan and Mary Ann......so sorry to hear of Don´s passing. All those years, long ago, as neighbors. The Cadillac always parked in front of your home. He was a truly nice guy! May he rest in peace. Joan, I´m sorry to just hear of the passing of your husband. My prayers to you and your family.

I’ll always remember Don as one of the most genuine people I’ve known. One year at Town Meeting, he stood up to support a project I was working on in the center of town. The next year, he got up and opposed the town buying some open space from me. That was Don — honest, thoughtful, and never afraid to stand by what he believed.

Don was that iconic Wilbraham resident that deeply cared about the town. I have a few favorite memories, one of those being during the height of the pandemic. The grocery store shelves were quite empty, Don was inquiring with the store manager when the ice cream was going to be replenished. Put a smile on my face during a very stressful time. Boy, did Don know how to hunt someone down when he was looking to get something done. I would return from a vacation with lots of Don phone...

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. We were friends during my many years of living in Wilbraham. Don was a Unique idividual, completely honest and a good person. God rest his soul.

That he stood tall for what he believed in was what I remember best . He will be missed in this town for speaking as a concerned citizen. He will be missed by many and remembered by more.

It is so sad to hear of Don´s passing. He was a reliable and kind man who will be sorely missed for all that he gave of himself at St. Cecilia´s Church in Wilbraham. He was a familiar face at many functions and a consistent greeter at the 11:00 Mass every week. It will be odd to not see him every Sunday in his usual spot. He was a good man with a kind heart.

When I first joined the Knights several years ago Don made me feel so welcome. He insisted I sit at his table table and join him. I was so appreciative and enjoyed his company so much. Every meeting after that I would always look for Dons jacket on the chair and put my jacket on the nearest chair and join him at the table. Don was a very honorable and proud gentleman. He did so so much for others . He was a saint in my book. I certainly missed him at our most recent...

Don, was a true original. Authentic in every way. His spirit cannot be replaced; he will be missed and remembered by many. He was one-of-kind. A very caring individual.

Don Flannery was always the perfect gentleman. Even as he aged he never gave up. The Realtor Association has lost a piece of it's history with his passing. God bless! You always had a twinkle in your eye and a welcoming smile!
