Donald Fortin

I still think of Don and smile. The very first day I met him, he refused to shake my hand but insisted on a hug. His positive, upbeat attitude was infectious, he found humor in so many things, his laughter was absolutely contagious. He was so excited to head out on a weekend afternoon to find a local baseball game, he loved watching any age group playing, as well as attending a Tiger’s or Loon’s game. He loved playing it on the Wii too! You may be gone Don, but you’ll never be forgotten.

Don will be sorely missed by me. I truly enjoyed our chats. At the end of each conversation Don would always say "you and I are good friends" via American Sign Language. This is a man that always had a smile on his face everyday even when he was sick. What an honor it was for me to know this man. May you rest in peace, Don...you will be forever remembered!
