DONALD E. "GENE" FOX

Gene , was a very special man, I loved him like my second father, I was a 24 yr old newly married man, when one day Gene overheard my phone conversation with my wife where we were discussing financial troubles like a lot of young couples go through. I didn't know Gene had heard me , but the next day he comes in and I'm sitting in my chair getting ready to my day started at Alabama Power corporate office . Gene comes in and shoves something in my shirt pocket and says this should help you...

This is terrible news , I worked with Gene for years and he became like a second father to me. We kept in touch over the years and I loved every minute I got to spend with him. I know he is celebrating in heaven as I am typing and when my time comes you will be one of the first I look for in heaven. I love you old friend.

Our prayers are with each of you. We have many fond memories of the family and Gene as Jenny's grandfather.
