Donald Frederick

"Feed" was my second cousin. My father, Chet Skendzel took him under his wing and he spent much time with him and our family as we were growing up. He was beloved. Sending condolences to his wife and family for their loss. I am sure my father was at the pearly gates welcoming him into heaven!

I was one of Don´s first 5th graders at IHM. My classmates and I learned a great deal from him. I´m sure he will be missed by many family members and friends. I´m so sorry for your loss.

I met Don "Ferd" several years ago while golfing at Silver Lake. We had a group of up to about 30 or more guys playing at any one time. In the ten years that we all played together, before the course lost most of it's members, Ferd was in charge. He always did a great job and I cannot ever remember any dissension within the group. I always enjoyed his very quick wit that allowed his response to whatever was being discussed by the golfers at the time. Usually it was very comical. The last time...

I remember Don´s deep faith and his desire to encourage goodness in others. I also remember Christmas parties at your house and Don´s train tracks running around that huge tree and all the wonderful outside decorations which Don took pleasure in doing with his big ladder. Prayers for you and the family.

Don was a good guy with a good heart. He was especially close to our brother Chet and they enjoyed good times together. We send our prayers for him
